To establish a new blog is like buying a new house — it is not an easy decision to make, and it takes a while to settle down. It takes even longer to feel completely comfortable with the new neighborhood.
I decided to set up this blog as a channel to voice my thoughts and feelings in English. As a bilingual writer, translator, reader and literary critic, as well as one who has dedicated herself to translating and publishing valuable English writings as Chinese e-books, I feel it necessary to have a personal voice. This is despite the fact that my professional voices have already been loud and clear, in both English and Chinese languages.
I love sharing my thoughts and feelings about all aspects of literature. I love communicating with people, something that is perhaps less done in this increasingly computerized, Internet-connected and therefore decentralized and chaotic world. A voice needs to be heard, but it has to be a good one. I strive to achieve this goal.
