Garden Dreaming (“Warm Winter Read” Day 87)

Finished reading Connie Cao’s Your Asian Veggie Patch (2024). I think the best thing to do on a rainy day, when you can’t do gardening outside, is to read about gardening. Of course, this is only at the start of the growing season, when it’s time to plan and daydream about a whole year of growing edible and ornamental plants.

Like most gardeners out there, I feel that no matter how big your garden is, it’s never big enough, and this also applies to your greenhouse. Well, compared to other people’s gardens and greenhouses, mine are pretty small. But it’s just like a tiny house – it’s not the size of your space, but how you manage it, and especially on a budget. I love recycling, reusing and remaking things so that they can get a second life. Perhaps this also applies to secondhand books?
